Wowie zowie… Its been a while. Here’s some updates for 2026!
Senior RPA Developer
The last time I updated this blog (3 years ago), my contract with the City of Austin had ended. I mentioned how much I loved that job and how finding a better one would be a tall order. I still think that rings true, but I actually landed a job that I really love shortly after that happened. It was my intent to take some time off and just enjoy being unemployed for a month or two before getting back to the dreaded task of job searching. But somehow the stars aligned and I got a mysterious message on LinkedIn about a job that I was supposedly a good fit for. It sounded perfectly tailored to me on paper and I’m happy to say three years later that I was right. It has been such a joy working at this new job. The work is really right up my alley, my boss is awesome, I get to work from home. I’m very pleased!
Future
This site is just kind of like… here. It just sort of exists in a void. I don’t blog very often anymore, but I do like to talk about the weird things I make when I actually make them. I am thinking of revamping the site to be more akin to a projects showcase instead of a basic blog with some articles. I would love to find the time to do more game dev experiments. Even if it doesn’t lead to actual games but little tests/experiments. That could be fun, right? If only I could find the time to actually motivate myself to doing that.
